Synopsis

The text of the monograph provides a detailed analysis of modern indicators of damage caused by seismic and thermal effects on the elements of buildings and structures, as well as research on the use of seismic protection devices in construction. The article describes the analysis of deformations and distortions of building structures under the influence of seismic forces, as well as research on the use of seismic protection devices in construction, risk factors for earthquakes and the impact of fires on nuclear power facilities. (Using the example of the Fukushima NPP). Algorithms for calculating seismic and fire hazardous loads on buildings and structures, as well as new methods for studying the fire and seismic safety of building structures, are widely studied. Risk assessment of objects under seismic and fire exposure. Tests of the effect of new fire-resistant structures on the damping properties of seismic protection and an assessment of damage to industrial enterprises from damage to building structures as a result of fires, which is a secondary phenomenon of seismic exposure, are carried out. Theoretical and practical aspects of seismic and fire safety of buildings and structures are scientifically substantiated.
